Klipsch “The Three” Review

First, this is not a cheap speaker. But if you’re patient, put it in your cart and keep checking back to see if there are any refurbs. Mine looked like a retail box so perhaps I was lucky. It in no way seems to me to be a refurb.

I was able to get mine for under $270, shipped free via Prime.

The good: sound quality is awesome. Great bass, clear, no complaints. The DTS streaming in Critical Listening mode is the way to go, so get the Klipsch app. I’ve owned several high end single speakers and multi-room systems. This is better IMHO for a single speaker solution than IMHO Bose or Sonos. Appearance, build, and connectivity are better too. Phono ready, Aux input, Wifi, Bluetooth, etc. Whatever you have will hook up.

Minor notes: turn off Bluetooth so the speaker will connect via WiFi to Spotify and other WiFi enabled apps. It can be a bit slow to find speakers via WiFi. I had to use a USB thumb drive to do the first firmware update. After that, the app did two updates to the firmware. Those take a while, 5 minutes or so, so be patient. Much better WiFi connections after that. So do the USB one first before troubleshooting further.
